It's been almost a year since I wrote a journal on here, I'm sorry I haven't kept you guys in the loop! Everything's been okay, I have just lost interest in DeviantArt and the community here can't be compared to the warm welcome and lovely comments I receive from the FurAffinity community. Don't get me wrong, I've made some good friends here and there are many many lovely people.
I pop in every now-and-then but I feel like my art is much more at home on FurAffinity and I get much more feedback because of that. Feedback is what drives me, and it was lacking here.
I won't be deleting my account, I have fond memories of DA, and an extensive gallery. I will continue to upload the odd piece of art, but I hope you understand that I don't think I'll 're-adopt' DA and use it every day like I used to.

Away For Christmas!
Hey all! Just a quick note to let you all know that I'm gonna be away between the 24th December to 10th January so there will be no major art updates from me on here. I'm going to try and doodle as much as possible so some sketches may be all you get!
I also have exams around the 20th of January so I have to concentrate on them too D:

The dA community has changed drastically over the years, it's not how it used to be. People would comment all the time, but that's not the case any more. On average I now normally receive 3 comments (which are close friends) and maybe 8 favourites per picture. When I first joined here, I drew like crap, but I'd averagely get 30+ comments (not counting my replies) and 50+ favourites.
FurAffinity is a cool place to hang out, you do normally have better reception with art there. It's always lovely to have feedback - that's what drives an artist! It gives you a sense that someone actually bothered to look!
